These Birds Fooled Me

We were looking for Goldfinch but they were not bright yellow.
They are ( Pine Warblers), greenish yellow above, yellow below
with grayish streaks and white wing bars. We have a pair and they nest in pine trees.
They are sure working over the sunflower seeds and thistle seeds.

the pink creeping phlox will soon be in full bloom.
we have creamy white  buds here.

He DOES look like a Goldfinch! How did you manage to identify him?

They would have fooled me too!

Your seasons are way ahead of our's. I won't see daffodils for another month. It is a great bird shot whatever it is. Our goldfinches turn brown during the winter and then gradually change back to bright yellow.

BEAUTIFUL. I love birds, and I have no idea what birds are what. Thanks for the smiles. Blessings.

Very few birds I can identify. If they are not red or blue or black I am at a lost. Happy Easter!

I like your warblers. Don't you love to hear them singing in the early morning? Bless you, and have a wonderful Easter.
