In The Early Morning

Yesterday a friend knocked on our door, and had these big tomatoes.
Two are a yellow tomato not my favorite but I will eat them. They were grown in Missouri.
You can guess what I had for lunch, Bacon and tomato sandwich with lettuce,  the lettuce is
called living lettuce grown in Tennessee and lots of Miracle whip dressing on it.So Good
This last much longer  and taste better.
It has roots
This new knife cuts tomato's just great.
First really good tomato this year, just delicious.

He Says

"Because you have forgotten the God of your salvation,
and have not been mindful of the Rock of your stronghold, therefore you will plant
pleasant plants and set out foreign seedlings; in the day you will make your plant to grow,
and in the morning you will make your seed to flourish; but the harvest will be a heap of ruins in the day of grief and desperate sorrow.
Isaiah 17:10, 11

1. Our stronghold (America)  2.  Foreign seedlings
3. The end  harvest (sorrow)
It happened to a nation,  will it happen to America?

Have You Ever Tried Rose Hip Tea?

My Yellow Sunny Knock Out Rose is loaded down with Hips.
I have heard people make tea with them. But I don't know if I would.
I think there are other things you can do with them. Would you do anything with them?

Cleome Queen Mix

These seed with many seeds, I think with every flower bud there are hundreds of seeds.
I pulled up bunches of them to get the right amount in my small garden. They make a great showing when they all bloom. The only thing they do not smell  very good.

Right Hand

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and  help you; I will uphold you with my
righteous right hand.

They Say Very Hardy

This Coleus has come back from last year, nice surprise.
Remember all the happiness
That comes your way in living.
Forget each worry and distress;
Be hopeful and forgiving.

Now that I am old I fine this easier to do.
I leave all of the family stress to my Girls,
It's all with their children now.
As far as the stress of this world I can
not let this bare in my soul
because I know God is in control.

Words to Live By

Forget each kindness that you do
As soon as you have done it
Forget the praise that falls to you
The moment you have won it.

Remember each  kindness done to you,
Whatever it may measure. Remember praise by others won
And pass it on with pleasure.

The Larkspur is growing.
 Have a good day!

Who Said ?

Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.

Warren Buffet----
American business magnate, investor and philanthropist.

You could have said that even I had could have said that!
I don't think anyone planted these trees, they were part of some woods left
when they cleared this land.

Not happy with just his bowl of food. I put foil around them so for so good.
We had a storm yesterday and today it is so very cool they said it was like September  weather
But it will not last long. Wishing  all of you will have a good day.

How many rise up against me!

A Blooming Day For Sure

 Blue Boy tall garden Phlox
Same Phlox with white Pope John Paul II rose
Stargazer Lilies with a blackberry Lily
Happy  to have you visit my little garden, we could now have a cup of tea.
Tea pot is a Arthur Wood made in England. Bought  on  my trip to Montreal,
Quebec, Canada in 1976 when the  Olympics games were played
and the Queen was thereabouts but she didn't have tea with me.
