Do I Need a New Blog?

or can I say this here? Maybe the content of things that have been on my mine should not be said here: we in our group as followers of Christ happy with the things we hear about the change that is sweeping across America? As J. Vernon McGee said in his commentary years ago about
Hosea 5:12 God said Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth,( you know what happens to a suit of clothes when a moth gets in it.) and to the house of Judah as rottenness:( it takes a house some time to rotten if there is no care taken of it.) Our foundations are being removed in every way imaginable in our nation today, and rottenness has already begun in that which is left. It may take a while, but we cannot continue in sin like we are and expect to escape God's judgment.
There is hope if we will seek God, like our founding fathers did. He will deliver us .

Cheer

I am looking to Spring
Life is a mixture of "Give and Take"
And we should travel the road without fear,
For the time may come in our lives
When we'll need an abundance of cheer. By Willis L. Tackette

Remember

Dr. Peter Marshall? Who was the Chaplain twice to the United States Senate. He maybe best known by his wife's book "A Man Called Peter". Catherine Marshall wrote many books. 1909-1949
The Oscar nominated film was played by Richard Todd

and Jean Peters

Peter Marshall and David Manuel co wrote the book From Sea to Shining Sea and

the Light and The Glory. I am Reading The Light and The Glory: The book has me spell bound about America's founding.
David Manuel was an editor at a major New York publishing house. He heard Peter Marshall speak at the chapel of the Community of Jesus, on Cape Cod where David's family were members. It turned his world upside down.
This is a must read.

Quilt Day

Friends....they cherish each other's hopes. They are kind to each other's dreams. By Henry David Thoreau My dream is to get better at my quilting, and have each child in my family a quilt from me.
This quilt is very special The Bennie had it made for me in 1986 by the Lady's at the Hallsville Methodist Church. This is a very small town in Texas, we lived there from 1985 to 1995.

This is the throw I was binding . I still have to embroider my name and date on it. I think I will sew the little button here by my name.

Now to start a new one ,but first there is a blue and white full size quilt that was giving me a fit trying to quilt it. I must get it done .

Quilt Blocks & Borders

This book was given to me by my secret pal for my birthday , who was Charlene at the Village.
I got it out to look at the binding tips.

It's so much fun to go through the pages and think I should do this and that.

Cute little lady bug.

and hummingbird

There is so much more I could be doing. Charlene later gave me her fabric stash.

Thank you Charlene, it was fun to be a Red Hat pal.
