My B L T


I toasted the bread to a golden brown, slivered the salad dressing thick on both pieces of toast, layed a green leaf of lettuce on both, then sliced my vine ripe from the garden tomato in thick slices put the bacon in place put the top toast on and when I bite in to my B L T the juice form the tomato and the salad dressing mingled and the tangy taste took be back to the 1940 at my grandmothers kitchen on the farm in the good old summer time.





The okra is not very tall yet but it is trying.

I have been reading Bennie's book by Louis L'amour (Jubal Sackett). It makes me want to sleep out under the stars to nite with the Skunk, opossum and raccoon.

Squiggle



I saw a new, (to me) quilt call apple core. So here goes. I called it my squiggle quilt to my quilt making village friend Sherry and she said that was a better name for it then apple core. Here is my stash of scraps this will be made out of. Taking donations of scraps

Movie nite With Frank and Cloody

This is going to be a hard one

It has been just a few hours and I have been at it. (Gripe, Gripe) I can't get a signal on my cell phone. Could it be where I live? In the Village.

Summertime in the Village

A rule against griping is perfectly understandable. The cancer of a complaining spirit can undermine the spiritual and emotional health of an individual and can infect an entire group. This can result in discontent, frustration, and even rebellion.

Up date on The Bennie's garden.








The village garden plots are feeding the people abound amounts of Squash, Zucchini, Onions.
The cantaloupes are the size of tennis balls and the cucumbers are about two inchs long.
The first ripe tomatoe race is on. The birds are waiting too.
