We cannot know the grief
That men may borrow;
We cannot see the souls
Storm-swept by sorrow;
But love can shine upon the way
Today, tomorrow;
Let us be kind,
Upon the wheel of pain so many weary lives are broken,
We live in vain who give no tender token.
Let us be kind.
"Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love" (Rom. 12:10).

Oh no ! eating in the kitchen.

This is what we can see out the back of the house

The back of the house. At 2:3o the ice storm hit , we got back to Blytheville a head of the storm. This morning we are covered with ice and a topping of snow. I sure could have used all of you dear lady's for advice on where to put things . I think it will have to all be arranged better. Way to much stuff for a smaller space.

Trivia

Rudolph, the Red Nosed Reindeer, was created in 1939, in Chicago, for the Montgomery Ward department stores for a Christmas promotion. The lyrics were written as a poem by Robert Mays, but weren't set to music until 1947. Gene Autry recorded the hit song in 1949.

The blackened Sky

Rain, rain Beating against the pane! How endlessly it pores Out of doors From the blackened sky-- I wonder why! Flowers, flowers, Up springing after showers, Blossoming fresh and fair, Everywhere! Ah, God has explained Why it rained!

You can always count on God to make the " afterward" of difficulties, if rightly overcome, a thousand times richer and fairer then the forward. "No chastening ... seemeth joyous ... nevertheless afterward ... " What a yield !
