But look what run off water boy did now, he went and got this
to make sure the water run better off his yard.

A Lot Of Work To Do

The flower bed is growing wild

Most of this will die back and the tall Iris will be moved after they bloom.
This poppy is getting tall and has a bud at the top ,will be glad to see it bloom.
The side yard is looking better
The landscape people are building it back up all the way to the street.
The run off water man is sure we are not doing it right and wants to
know just what our plan is????

A Bright Spot

in my back yard, this white iris didn't bloom last year. I was so happy to see it this year.
I call it my Aunt Minnie Iris because it came from a lady that
helped us find Aunt Minnie's grave some years ago.
A bud on the yellow Sunny Knock Out rose
peony is going to pop any time.

You Reap That Which You Sow

"Let destruction come upon him unawares;
And  let the net  which he hid catch himself;
Into that very destruction let him fall."
Ps. 35:8
Gird your minds for action, keep sober (in spirit), fix your hope completely
on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Still On My Mind

If we had a homeowners association this would not have happened.
It has been hard to have self control about this but---
He should be glad if he cared that I am ranting just on my blog.
He has just made a mess of my pretty side and back yard.

Our gate before he moved in
our side yard before he moved in
our dead grass now in the side yard. You can see down the middle
where he was cutting our grass way past his gray unpainted fence. The drain  off his house
back of his flower bed goes to the middle also. We have lived here 6 years and it didn't happen until
he moved in. You know what he told Bennie? we could put gravel in there.
and now at the gate. this is where its comes from under his fence
Okay I will not say any more?????

Whatever

we possess becomes of double value when we have the
opportunity of sharing it with others.
Bouilly

the Palace Purple Coral Bell is looking good after the hard winter.
We lost the Crème Brulee Coral Bell

but not sharing the neighbors water
Well it's not pretty but we will work with it.
and hope this will fix our neighbors water that he has
directed to flow on our property
Now we know why he was cutting this grass on our side of the yard ( this was late in the summer)
and each time he would cut a little deeper.  The Bennie told him to stop
because it was killing the grass.  He was cutting a trench for his water to flow off his
property. Just look how good it worked. The orange is our phone line we had it marked
so we will know and think about what to do about this problem .

Spring Is For Rain And Flowers

The Bearded Iris are showing color
 Autumn Royalty Azalea is budding
the Ditch lily is looking good. And it is on the other side of the ditch.
Now for my rant, our new neighbors are so for not nice people
they want even say hello or look at us. When that happens they know
they are wrong. It is just as bad and looks the same for the
neighbor on the other side of them. They reworked their back yard so all their water runs on us.
And it is rotting the grass we can not even get in our back yard.
The Bennie could call the city on them for what they did but he want ,he is
going to put a sump pump in and run a line out the back of
our yard to the ditch. That is a lot of work for him. I just hope it works. If
not he will have to put a gate on the other side of our house so he can get in
the back to cut the grass . More money and work.

More Storms

I was ready to take shelter it went around us and not 15 miles from
us it took out power poles and trees. This morning the wind is blowing and it is cool.
Our October Glory Maple tree is in full leaf.
The Karl Rosenfield Paeonia is about to pop.
This is the Pope John Paul 11, white rose, buds all over it.
My heart goes out to all who didn't make the storm with out damage.

The Word

of God is alive and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword,
piercing even to the dividing asunder of the soul and the spirit, and of
the joints and the marrow, and is a critic of thoughts and intents of the heart.

Hebrews 4:12

Busy Back Yard

Squirrel wants on the feeder so bad but just can't get past the shield
so he waits for the Blue Jays to scatter the seeds.
the Cardinal's are nesting , did you know the females regularly sing not just
the males. You can see the trees are getting greener.
This little bird is a white -throated sparrow he will be gone soon
they just come for the winter. You can see the honeysuckle is green and will bloom soon.
I have buds on the Iris , see the little bird at the bottom  it has  bright yellow
strips on it head, tried my best to get a better photo of it. Looks like
some kind of sparrow. Couldn't find it in my bird book.

The Plants Are Going In Place

To bloom for the summer. Look what I found in the Iris bed this morning
I tell you it wasn't there yesterday???

This is the Lemon Thyme it smells like lemon drop candies
it is variegated with a little yellow around the small leaves
and it grows fast and will cover this pot and bloom .
This is the red geranium, it will stay on the front porch.
I am not sure what this is ,last year I planted some poppy seeds
they didn't do well. But that is what this looks like. It was not planted here under the hose.
Do you think it is a poppy??
We had a storm last night and lots of rain and wind, little leaves from the trees are every where this morning.

Rumors

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed.
Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against  kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.

Matthew 24: 6,7,8
