Are you kidding me? This is the life girl!!!
What a beautiful Eastern Towhee! I have them around from time to time - be on the lookout for a female. She's more rust/brown where he is black. I keep feed on the grounds for the doves and such, and they will eat from that food.We have snow on the ground today, and I'm making sure my feeders are full. The birds are really busy on the back, but not out front. I'm thinking the house protects them from the wind in the back. And Darla is right - this is the life! Becky
I love the Towhee's. I can still remember how excited I got when I first saw my first one last winter. Of course I did not know what king it was then. I am hoping to see more this winter.
That is just a beautiful picture Patsy. Occasionally I see these in our woods and I love to hear them. Hope you have a nice weekend.
I'll have to look for these in our bit off wooded area. I love your new blog header picture. So serene and beautiful..hugs ~lynne~
