These are WONDERFUL!! I used to have the big Betty Crocker one, my grandmother gave it to me. Sadly, I do not have it now and don't know what happened to it. But I DO have her recipe box with recipe cards in her own handwriting. It is awesome that you have saved these, and are now sharing them with us!
You have some real treasures. I have a few of mama's old cookbooks and I enjoy just browsing through them.
Such precious memories. Thanks for sharing. ~:)
What fun to look through! I bet there's some good recipes in them too.
What fun, I like to read recipe books too. Did your Mom write in any of them. I think I will write in a few of mine for my girls to read some day or someone else who buys the book at an estate sale:)
What a treasure you have there. I have some of my Mom's hand written recipes. So happy to have those. Have a great weekend.
My Mom was not a great recipe collector but I have a box of recipes and old books my that my Grandma gave me and I love looking st them and the ads in them. Some of the pinch of this and that does not apply in today's cooking. LOL!It was so much work to cook back then unlike today. Have a lovely week.
How interesting! I like reading cookbooks and pretending I'm going to make certain dishes. I get so sure I even bend down the corners ....haha. Your collection must be rare...I love to see things like that from times gone by and to think they were used by yo ur Mom, how special.
I like to look threw them to.
What a wonderful collection! I love to browse through the cookbooks at our local library!
