| When the blooms opened on the stalk they looked like little orchids and the smell was so sweet. |
the little blooms were pink , you can see the little green banana with the bloom on the end.

So cool, having your own banana tree! I imagine you ate them all the time when they were on the tree. Could you tell a difference in taste between yours and the ones in grocery stores?

They are just wonderful Patsy! How exciting to get fresh bananas as well as to have the shade! I planted a little lemon tree last year in a pot and it is blooming now.
You have a banana tree with real live bananas. Too cool. Love the setting. I'd stay out there forever!

I've heard that bananas ripe from the tree are a thousand times more tasty than the store bought ones we are used to. What a treat!
I love to eat bananas. I wish we could have the trees here but it gets too cold. Yours are/where very pretty. ~:)
