The longest day ,2010 nears the halfway point today. June 21 is the summer solstice, the longest day and shortest night of the year in the northern hemisphere. At 7:28 a.m. the sun is as far north as it's going to come.

It surely is summer time and I wish I had a picnic! The caption for the bear photo is very cute Patsy.
It has been a long time since I was on a picnic. We used to go all the time. I miss those days of going to the park with our kids.
