Trivia

The last novel published by Agatha Christis was "Murder from the Past." She wrote it around 1940 but specified in her will that it not be published until after her death. She died in 1976.

That's very interesting Patsy.

I love Agatha Christie but have to admit I've never read her books. Only watched the TV programmes. I must get around to reading some of her books this year. I liked Margaret Rutherford in the films but my all time favourite Miss Marple was Joan Hickson and I watched a few of the programmes over Christmas.

Geraldine McEwan has played her for the last time but I missed that the other night. No doubt they'll show it again soon. Julia McKenzie is taking over the role.

I also love Poirot, David Suchet is fantastic.

Wow, I've never read any of her books. Wonder why she didn't want that one published until she died. Any ideas?

I like Agatha Christie, mostly from movies and TV. I did a quick search and couldn't come up with " Murder from the Past", you will have to let me in on your source of info.

Hmmm, I wonder why she didn't want it published until after her death? That's a mystery in itself. My father reads her books, I'm going to share this tidbit with him and see what he thinks ;)

PS...I'm having a giveaway on my blog if you'd like to enter ;)

I didn't know that! It's been a long time since I've read one of her books.
