To All Plant Lovers

Easy and pretty ways to clean air. Go green, three of the worst offenders found in relatively new homes are from building mater and furnished with synthetic carpeting fabrics, laminated counters, plastic coated wallpaper, and other materials know to "off gas" pollutants in to the interior environment. This is my solution "Bamboo" with fake flower. Do the bomboo place mats count?

I have noticed lots of pretty bamboo plants at Wal Mart and other places. Now I know why!

I really like your arrangement. I thought it was interesting that I just read an article in the daily Little Rock paper about making "green" cleaning products. I cut the article out.

One of the suggestions was to clean drains with 1/2 cup baking soda followed by 1/2 cup lemon juice which I just finished doing. I have always used baking soda for different things.

Another cleaning product mentioned was using olive oil and lemon juice to clean furniture. I have some really old wooden chairs that I think I will clean that way.

Must get off did not mean to write so much. Have a good week-end.

I've always wanted to get a bamboo plant! Your addition of the flower makes it extra nice!

Very attractive. My husband bought me an orchid for my birthday but it hasn't lasted more than a couple of weeks. Probably too dry with the central heating.

I'm not brilliant with house plants! I should copy you and get an artifical one.

Yes, we have way too many chemicals we use that are harmful. Many old fashioned ingredients do a great job at cleaning, etc. without causing problems, like plain old vinegar, and the baking soda, mentioned above, etc.

Love the bamboo arrangement, Patsy.

Happy weekend!
