What a wonderful celebration---good company, sumptuous lunch, and honoring our country.

Was this catered by the kitchen staff at your complex? Simply wonderful.

So glad you have all these wonderful social occasions to share with friends. Hope you and Mr. the Bennie are staying COOL.

I hope your library has one of these online book things...it is so nice! and lest you think I'm a whiz at spinning and knitting...I'm rather slow, it takes a lot of time but with great results most of the time. The only lace pattern I tried was a scarf that hubby sucked up the sweeper. Somehow?! =) I forgave him....another handspun and knit scarf accidentally went thru the wash and felted. thats life =) though. ~~I've enjoyed some of Agatha Raisin books too. I didn't like all though...but yes, the English setting and her cottage....a delight.
