I did not know this. It is just about the time of year for a fresh crop of Vidalia GA onions. I just prepared hot dogs for our lunch, complete with mustard!

This is making my tongue tingle, like sniffing the French's jar. Now I want an old greasy-spoon hamburger, from a little Mississippi roadside caffay---with mustard, onion and drippy slices of dill pickle.

Y'all be sweet,

The Vidalia's are being harvested right now in SE Georgia. They permeate the countryside with their pungent sweetness. The farmer's always tell me it's the smell of money. I'll have to share the "swearing on an onion" with them. They'll probably be tickled. Thanks for sharing that!
Hope you're feeling better and having a beautiful day. ~:)

I am glad we use the Bible instead of an onion.
