They Are Sharing With Us

As I  have  the man that loves to feed anything that comes to the yard door.
He has been buying apples from the sale table for the birds and squirrels.
So as I fix a plate of toasted old bread, apples and the peel for them, I
said could they share some apples with us?

I picked three good apples two green and a red and made

Waldorf  Salad

2 firm ripe green apples

1  firm ripe red apple

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 cup sliced celery

1/2 cup  walnuts or pecans chopped couarsely

1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing

1 1/2 teaspoons honey

1/2 cup raisins

put on lettuce leaves

Enjoy!

I love Waldorf salad. As a kid when we would visit the cafeteria after Sunday church, I would always order it! Snow tonight on the ground and it's still falling.
