The Bennie wants soft butter for his toast.
(Store butter for an extended period of time
without refrigeration.)
Flowers for the table
and a lap quilt I made so he can stay nice and warm
when he naps in his chair.
Wishing all a very happy day.

We keep our daily butter on the counter too. Soft butter is so much easier to use. Very lovely gifts. Happy VD! ~:)
We do too, Patsy, keep our butter out. Very pretty nap quilt and flowers. Blessings
Chriss is a "butter only" man, as well. One of the tiniest square GLAD boxes holds exactly a stick, and lives atop the brown sugar cannister with the flat lid.
Flowers---a red square glass vase with a green plastic pot squashed down in---the poinsettia still flaunts eight petals---I just counted.
Quilt: We both have "our lapghans"---mine a gift at Christmas, of tan knit Alpaca to match the LaZBoy which came with it.
We DO have several quilts---one signed with my Mammaw J's name and the year 1933. There's even one Sunbonnet Sue top that I pieced when i was about fifteen, still folded in the tissue. Do you have a frame or a hoop? Our first house still had a 6x6 wooden frame in the ceiling on let-down ropes.
You and Mr. The Bennie stay Well and Warm!

Hi Patsy, What thoughtful Valentine gifts. Have a wonderful warm day with your Bennie.
That is a great butter dish. I keep butter out all the time as I hate hard butter, I haven't died yet. That is a beautiful quilt! Happy Valentines day:)
The butter dish should work well for you. My grandmother always had her butter in a dish and left it on the table with all of here condiments. She would lay a checkered cloth over the whole thing after every meal.
