I have never done a yard sale - - never felt led to it. I am not so much a fan of going to yard sales - - finding parking etc but really enjoy resale shops and consignment sales. You can find some amazing bargains.
Do you ever go to them? We have a whole lot here, usually on Saturday mornings, like your neighborhood. You would think people would finally get rid of their stuff, but they have been going on for over 45 years now. They start so early that by mid morning they are closing up.
I dislike hosting one also, don't mind stopping by the visit them though. We've been having our "junk" sold at a local auction house. It's so much easier. Hope y'all are having a happy and safe day. ~:)
It's that time of year, and I really need to have one, I mean a big one, I have many years of junk piling. I apologize for not being around this summer, it has been along summer at the farm but I am so thankful things are slowing down for now, and that is a "good thing". Thanks for your visits. I had to have one last Saturday to get rid of my left over household stuff. Glad I had help. Lots of it.
