100 Years Ago Today

US 64th regiment celebrate The Armistice "by U. S. Army"
Two of my family were there.
James T. Green  1894---1975
Uncle Jim was my grandfathers brother, I remember him well.
He came to visit every summer
Hosie Houston Green  1889--1932
These are his dog tags,  they were found in old family safe.
He was my grandfathers brother also died before I was born.

My knowledge of any relatives being involve is unknown at yet I know someday someone might find out that info. My Burgus family could have been involved that was still living in Germany at the time while the ones over here were not. My dad was born in 1919 so my history on back is nada.

That's neat that you have all that family history. I'm related to the Green(e) family, by the way. I've done extensive research on them. When convenient, pop over to this website and hunt for your Green(e)'s. I almost all spell it GREENE for easier viewing. It seems to be a fashion with the spelling. It was originally De Grene and De Boketon (http://www.redbirdacres.net/greenehistory.html). ~:)
