What a great tribute. Thanks for sharing. Blessings
Thank you for this awesome reminder! And what a wonderful tribute to your relative.
Thank you for sharing with us, Patsy.
My knowledge of any relatives being involve is unknown at yet I know someday someone might find out that info. My Burgus family could have been involved that was still living in Germany at the time while the ones over here were not. My dad was born in 1919 so my history on back is nada.
They were very brave men!!
Thanks for sharing this Patsy - very interesting!
That's neat that you have all that family history. I'm related to the Green(e) family, by the way. I've done extensive research on them. When convenient, pop over to this website and hunt for your Green(e)'s. I almost all spell it GREENE for easier viewing. It seems to be a fashion with the spelling. It was originally De Grene and De Boketon (http://www.redbirdacres.net/greenehistory.html). ~:)
