For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of  Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
1 Peter 1: 18,19.

It is important to remember that we are redeemed by the nonperishable blood of Jesus Christ and not perishable man made money. Excellent lesson.
Have a blessed Sunday. ~:)

Isn't God wonderful! He has given us so many jewels which to adorn our world, and redeemed us with the blood of the Lamb, against condemnation for our sin. I LOVE this post!

Oh, Miss Patsy!

I so pray that you are both unharmed by that terrible storm. And my heart is with all those you love, and that you know, and all the brave people of Arkansas.

You and Mr. The Bennie give each other a hug from me, and know that I'm thinking of all of you who are recovering or repairing or mourning a loss today. I lived long years in that storm-ridden part of the South, and know that there's need of support and healing and prayer.
