No rain Yet

We have been watering  more and the Peace rose is happy just not as many blooms.
This year the Pope John Paul II is doing so much better. Last year the stem's were so weak they could not
hold the rose up.
Now this year many, many blooms. The Bennie has been  taking good care of this beautiful rose.
And it smells so sweet.

Patsy & Bennie, Your roses are exquisite! How very lovely they are and I imagine the scent is wonderful. Hoping for rain later in the week!

The Roses look beautiful. I have a couple blooming and of course Daylilies still but that's about it. Everything else burned up the last few days. It's awful. I keep hoping for rain too so I know how you feel.

Beautiful rose blooms Patsy. Bennie is doing a good job taking care of them.

I am still haven't had any rain in forever - maybe 5-6 wks or more. Watering with the garden hose only keeps things from dying. They are in no was thriving. Hope you get some rain soon and some cooler temps too.

The sweet aroma comes to mind while looking at these gorgeous photos. As for rain, we are getting a bit today with promise of more to come. I hope that forecast holds true.

Roses seem to suffer in the heat. Glad Bennie's looking after things.

It takes roses about 3 years to look good I keep mine low as possible, that makes stronger limbs.
