Camping on the White River

If you enlarge you can see The Bennie.

Cold, cold water coming from a hill running down to the river.
This was a little old water snake in a pond at the camp site.

It was high water and out of it's banks on the White River.

This is Norfork Dam so much water coming from the flooded lake.

That didn't stop the fisher man

Not even the Bennie,

this was a Brown Trout and had to let it go. To keep it has to be 24 in long.
It was cool and sunshine, we ate trout and sit around the camp fire at nite.

Sounds like a great time but tell me, where is the White River? It being out of banks made me think it might be near the Mississippi R.

Oh how wonderful! It looks like such a great place to camp. I use to love to fish but it has been years now. The water looks so beautiful....well maybe minus the snake.LOL!
