We now have the public library in the comfort of our home.
This is big , soon I will never have to go out of my home, life is on my computer.
With the e-reader I can check out books and when the titles expire at the end of
lending period it is automatically done. no late fees. But Bennie sometime I may want to SEE people!

I haven't tried an e-reader yet. But, I do have a library in my own home, I estimate I have around 300 books I haven't read yet. So I will be turning those pages for a long time to come, I'm afraid. I'm so glad you are enjoying your e-reader, Happy Reading.

Oh that sounds like fun. I don't know how many mad dashes to the library to return books I have made over the years.

And moving up country there is less choice in the library, maybe it's time for me to think about that.

Patsy that sounds wonderful. You do not have to pay those overdue book fines. LOL! You are going to enjoy that e-reader so much this winter. Yes, you do need to get out in the fresh air once in a while.Breath in some cold winter air. As we say here." you have to get out to get the stink blown off of you". LOL!

I have done Kindle on PC but I am old fashioned and love going to the library. I don't own many books because of not much space.

Kindle is the only one that we can't download to at the library. My e-reader is Sony.

I bet those readers are awesome. I would love to have one.

I still like to hold a book and see print on paper. It's still easier to read to me than a computer screen.

We would never have dreamt it even 20 years ago!

Hi Patsy, I too have become an avid 'e-reader'. I download the free books from Amazon for kindle but keep trying to find a source that I can 'lend' from ....just like you described. Please.... what is the name of your e-library ? I have a notion it is something offered just within your state or perhaps county? Here's hoping not! We are off for a walk soon...a rare bit of 50 degree weather is happening but only for a couple of hours. Off we go....=)
