On the Ditch

There is a ditch that carry's off rain water from the land in the back of the house. I think in 5 years or less they will build houses there. So these bushes will give the birds cover and smell good . Strawberry Bush
Witch hazel

I love the smell of the spice bush. My aunt had one when I was a child so it brings back lots of 'sweet' memories.

Hello,
Great post!! My grandmother used to have a spice bush, it smelled so good, but as a child I remember spiders hiding in them, Thanks for reminding me of wonderful times at my grandmother.
Blessings,
Sue

They are lovely, Patsy. Will you be planting them by the ditch? I have witch hazel, down by the little creek. I love the color of the strawberry bush, and the spice bush, of course, smalls wonderful.

You must be having so much fun planning the garden and what to plant where.

Have a nice evening.

Renie

I saw the tunrip green cooking slide show, but I'm not sure what happening. Is that scrambled eggs and bacon with the greens?

Why not have The Bennie plant some greens in the ditch.
P.S. My address has changed; it's now 5383 Woodpile Circle.
