Time Past and Present

This old barn is of the past but want give up. I love to see
the old barns --- not many left now.
 It's haying time again
This is what we see from our back yard. We are just behind the hedgerow.
If you step over the fence we would be in the county. Some day they will
build houses in this field and that makes me sad.

My goodness, is it haying time again. Just seems like yesterday that we were fighting the drifts of snow. How time flies.

Yes this time of the year would e hay making time and as a kid I would dread it. We baled square bales that had to be manhandled over and over again to get them into the barn. It was always very hot and you had to work in the sun's heat. Those big bales are a great solution to all of that.

Hay time here too...we took a drive back down to school and a short country drive. That saddens me as well, that one day, the countryside will be no more. Have a Blessed Monday my friend.

What a pretty view! Don't think about the unhappy things...it may never happen. We can hope. I like how you said that you could take one step into the country. Very cool.

The hay fields are busy here too. It's nice to see the bales sitting all around, waiting to be moved to barns or sold. I think they're very pretty. They're also useful as camouflage for dove shooting. ~:)

Hay time here as well. I miss living in the country where hubby and son would cut and bale. Love the smells that go along with it. You have a lovely place to live for sure.

That's a pretty view out the back. I am very allergic to hay. Every Autumn, the outdoor craft shows around here spread hay on the walkways and I sneeze the whole time I am shopping!!!
