I gave a neighbor across the street a start and seed of
the Mildred's Blackberry lily, so now we get to enjoy
seeing hers bloom.
She has lots of red lilies
And these pure sunshine yellow flowers.

Gorgeous colors. I saw a lily the other day called a toad-lily, a similar lily to the first one, and quite exquisite.

I'm happy the neighbors blackberry lily is doing so well! I love all the color of the flowers this time of year. Hot and dry today but we are expecting rain on Sat. L.D. in Iowa got 7 inches of rain yesterday!

It's always so good to share. What do they say about casting your bread upon the water... we always benefit from doing something nice for someone.
I have not heard of the that kind of lily but it is striking in color and design.
