This was last time she made her home here, you can see she could get in
then she made her nest. I guess she gained weight and needed a bigger door.

It's amazing that a squirrel could do that!
That is pitiful. My husband makes wooden birdhouses as a hobby. We've had to place a metal washer on the entrance of each house so that neither Flying Squirrels, Woodpeckers nor Starlings can nest in the boxes. Works like a charm. ~:)
PS: The washer inside diameter has to be 1 1/2 inch to be effective and still let the song birds gain entrance.
