Remember

when clothes were hung out side to dry? Today it is going to be in low 40's
the wind is blowing,
  is it spring yet??

That is a great picture - very clear and distinct. I LOVE the smell of sheets that are dried outside. Can't do it around here much though because of the pollen. It's one of the worst places to live if you have outdoor allergies.

Hi Patsy - I am new follower from Arizona. Found you on Linda's blog. I have good memories of my mom hanging out the laundry like yours. I always hang my laundry too - in the house in the winter, but I rarely use my dryer. Saves lots of money. Looking forward to following your blog. Have a good day and God bless!

Of course we still hang clothes out to dry (only use my tumbler dryer when absolutely essential. Unfortunately have not had the pleasure this winter as it has rained for months causing lots of flooding everywhere. So tumbler dryer for bedding and towels and linen but clothes airers next to radiators for the clothes that I do not like in the dryer.
