We Had To Make A Run

to Kroger's this morning, the Bennie and I both worked in a grocery story. I for 15 years and him a life time.
My grandfather and his father owned grocery store's, so that is our favorite thing to do is haunt the aisles of
a grocery store.

This is a Thanksgiving add for the Smith's Super Market I saved from 1963.

It's fun to see the old grocery ad. We eat a lot of bananas; I wish they were still that cheap!!!

What a shame things are so much higher now, that wasn't that long ago 1963. 2 cents for pepper. I don't like haunting the grocery stores cost to much.lol

It is a good thing you liked doing it as you were involved with it so long. Food is fun.

There used to be a 'Mom & Pop' store close by years ago. Your post brought them to mind. Prices sure have gone up.
