Moving in to Summer

The orange Mum is in bloom, it will be cut back for the fall blooming.

New Camelot Lavender Foxglove

Long wait but the Black Berry Lillie is in bloom. When it goes to seeds they look just like black berry's.
Thank you Mildred I have enjoyed having  them in my garden.

I normally keep my mums cut back until July 1st same as the pineapple sage..with my hip issues I have just let them go...girls will be weeding for me today so I'll have them pinch/cut them back...my Blackberry Lily still has not bloomed...growing nicely though.

Pretty flowers. When do you cut your mums back? Guess I am too 'green' to have a green thumb. Have a great weekend.

Beautiful mum and I am so happy you enjoy the lilies. They are a fun plant to watch as they change into the berries. Love your foxglove, too. John is in a lot of pain with shingles. Just got the prescriptions this afternoon. May be away from the blog again but email me any time. Love you.

Wow - that is a BIG mum plant! I am so glad we get to enjoy your flowers without all the work in the summer! Thanks for doing that for us.

Our mums don't bloom twice. We do cut them back in July so they will sprout out many more shoots. Beautiful flowers.
