My Genealogy work is about to end , it has been quit a journey of history in to the past for me.
There has been renewed bonds with old and new family members.
After over 5 years of research I know where all of the parts of the person I am are located. I have been to pay my respects to most.

My dear sainted husband Bennie who hates cemeteries ,but went to every one in East Tennessee ,North East Arkansas and Missouri with me. I have met cousins face to face who have been a big part in helping me, some I had never met and didn't know them before. They came from Colorado, Virginia,Missouri,Arkansas and California.

One book has been published on the Leehy and Chumley family by Anita Powell Stevenson on Amazon. I have made this all public on Ancestry with DNA on one family. We (cousins and I) placed a headstone on a great grandmothers grave after we found it.

There have been love triangles.

Tragic death's, wars and murder with shunned family's. Most were hard working pioneers on a pilgrimage for new land and life in this America that I love. If you enlarge the photo you can read the name's of family's and if you are a part of them

let me hear from you.

Genealogy is addicting isn't it? LOL! I do not think we have any in relatives in common. I have been doing genealogy for so many years now. Just when I think I am done something new crops up.I love doing it and have a whole county website dedicated to local history and people that I have run for years.When I first started there was nothing hardly online or in the local records for people here to find their roots. So that is why I started the website.I spent more time in cemeteries than I care to remember. LOL! I am glad you have found your families.

We just closed down our research on all our lineages, also, Patsy. Is is so rewarding to find the history & lives of each member.

We treaded all over Europe & the USA enjoying every step that stood on th e soil the ancestors walked.

We met wonderful 'new' relatives & fabulous new acquaintances that told stories we'd never have heard.

Your family members are going to treasure your efforts, forever.

Have a wonderful week ~

How wonderful that you have found so much information on your family. AT&T technicans tell me that they have my email corrected. It was not a virus, but my email was hacked. Gosh, the things that can happen....take care and stay cool.

End.What you talking about. There is no end.

Those surnames roll in like the energizer bunny. going and going. lol but I go further into branches. And I do areas rather than just families. Just can't help myself. New daughter in law is even more to add. tee hee. Nice blog.
