We had warm weather and the rain is on its way, so we got busy .
I had to dig and divide some Iris to move the rose bushes.
Now come on rain and make my roses grow.

I have a huge day lily up north and I know I need to separate it but I'm afraid of killing it. Have you ever done day lilies.

Good Morning Sweetie...
Did you say come on rain? I am sending it your way. We had 2 days of it. My flowers have enough so you can have it. I hope it blows your direction and gives your beautiful roses the treatment they need sweet friend. My flowers are all stretching this morning and asking for the sun to come on up and dry them out.

Oh Momma always had iris. I love the deep purple and bright yellow. I don't know if they would grow here in Phoenix or not.

Hope you have a glorious day sweet one. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Well you got that job marked off of your list Patsy. I remember dividing my overgrown irises two years ago now. I think I had fifty divisions off of three plants. LOL! The poor things were so overgrown they could hardly bloom. Now I have a whole row along the woodland bed from them. Your rose bush looks really green and healthy. Won't be too long now. I have to keep telling myself that. LOL!

Ooh that's a job in itself !
We have Iris also that need dividing, they didn't bloom nearly as well last year because they were so crowded.
Good luck with your roses !
Hugs,
~Jo

When iris are divided, do they bloom the next year? Someone told me when they are moved, they may take a few years before they bloom again. We have so much shade here, we are fortunate to see any blooms.
