from Hershey's Kitchens
With Swiss Meringue
3 egg whites
3/4 cups sugar
1/2 tea vanilla
1. Combine the egg whites, sugar, vanilla in the heat-proof bowl of an electric mixer.
Set the bowl over a pan of simmering water. Whisk constantly until the sugar has
dissolved and whites are hot to the touch, 5 to7 minutes.
2. Transfer the bowl to the electric mixer. Using the whisk attachment, mix on low
speed, gradually increasing to high speed, until stiff, glossy peaks form, about
10 minutes. Use immediately.

Chocolate! Oh, yummy.
Oh my that looks delicious. Looks like one you would find in an upscale restaurant.
Oh dear, I could put a dent in this pie! I cut back my roses too. Yours should move just fine.
Looks like it should be called a Chocolate Surprise as you can't see the chocolate from the outside!
Yum! Please...save me a piece...=)
That is some high meringue..it looks like it came from a pie shop..a cooked meringue..I learn something new everyday. I like Chocolate in other stuff..not so much in a pie..how about Sour Cream and Raisin! :)
YUMMY !!!!! that looks delish !
I could eat the entire pie at one time!
Oh, My, Miss Patsy!! You've made scrumptious SWISS meringue!!! I learned that one from the Martha Stewart Wedding Book, and haven't made it in ages.
Beautiful pie, and I have just the filling for it---my Mother's recipe using Hershey's cocoa, and written out on a little splotched paper in her own writing. It uses Pet milk and some water, which I've never seen in another pie recipe.
