Going the Back Roads

of America, this is our trip to Osage Beach, Mo
We found a great super store it had big departments for every thing .

This was a food bar

The Bennie and banana's

Every kind of olive you could want. They had Milk in glass jugs in the big dairy department.

On our way we came to a road block they sent us down a great back road.I think it must be like a visit to Chickens in the road in Virginia . The way she talks about the creeks run across the dirt roads being way back in the woods.

As we went deeper in to the woods the water was running across the road to get to the lake below the road.

When we came out about a mile Thur the woods trucks that could not go down the wooded path were lined up for miles.

To me that was one of the best parts of the trip to get to see life in the back country roads.

A wonderful trip !
That was indeed a large store, stocked with lots.
How exciting traveling down those dirt roads, although it makes you wonder if they would just run out and leave you stranded, hhmmmm.

How nice to get to share your trip with you two. That store looks like a great find. I've never seen such a selection of olives - John would love each and every one!

Did it go well at the dr. yesterday?

Well that was a fascinating side trip wasn't it. I would have been wondering if they knew whether this road had an end. LOL! There are many of those little roads around here and it is fun to ride on them. As more people move in they are slowly disappearing though and I will miss the charm of them.
What a great store! Does Bennie like bananas LOL! I should have sent Bilbo with you and you could have just left him on that road LOL!

Great post! Love your photos of this interesting trip. Several roads in our area were closed due to high water.
