Easter Sunday

1947 , left to right my sister's best friend Shirley until the end of her life. That is me in the middle and they tormented me for life. I always tried to go with them every where. They told me they would give me a nickle if I would stay in the yard. Up the street they went ( I didn't stay put) I saw them talking to old mean Jimmy Snodgrass and I went and told mother. There was pay back. My sister was 4 years older then me.
Enlarge to see our outfits that came from the Sears catalog only on Easter . Mother made all of our school dress.

Hi Patsy,
Just loved this photo, reminds me of some of mine. My parents always had to take photos of us with our new outfits at Easter. I too was bribed many times to not tag along with my older sister. lol.
May you have a most blessed Easter Sunday.
Hugs,
Sue

Patsy, sweet friend ... oh, yes this rings a bell with me & my sibs ...I'd have done ANYTHING to get rid of them, chuckle ... & tattle they did.

Mother made new dresses for every holiday ... working thru the night so we had a beautiful new creation to proudly strut in feeling like a queen.

Love your picture. Brings back many memories.

Happy Easter!
Have a beautiful weekend.
