Or the walking Iris it is a pass-along plant, they are a tough easily propagated and interesting. They are some time call the walking apostle plant because it was commonly supposed that the flower stalk emerged in the central position of a fan of 12 leaves. Walking iris is a aptly named, for as the flower spike nears the end of its bloom cycle and continues to flop about, new plantlets begin to appear at the tip of the spike.

Never heard about the walking plant either, so this was interesting. I love irises. Mine are up. So are my jonquils and they have buds on them. Hurry up Spring!
