Western Meadowlark

It took some time to get a good look at this bird. A family of these have been in the hay field for about a month. I have been sitting out with The Bennie's old deer binoculars. Yesterday one came in and sit still for me.
They are from the blackbird family and there call sounds like the Red-winged blackbird.

Such a beautiful bird. We don't have meadowlarks here, I am going to have to google them to hear what they sound like.
