When these trees burn in a camp fire they smell sweet. They are Cypress

I wish I could see them in person. I wonder if the sweet smell is a good smell or a not so good one. Would you want it in a fireplace inside your house?

I ask The Bennie about the fireplace and he said no. It made me think of sandal wood. Sweet but not overpowering.

I love cyprus trees. We have some along the Current River in my area. They are really beautiful trees. I'm not sure how they would smell burning, as I have never smelled one burning. Pretty picture though.
