Sherry fixed the tea cups

A group of us Village Lady's had tea and cake at Sherry's house and we started telling story's about our youth. Sherry was serving us from her Grandma's tea set. She said when she was about 7 or 8 Grandma was having some Lady's over and she was helping bring the tea cups and saucers to the table and she did it one tea cup and saucer at a time. The little cup danced all over the saucer. Grandma went out side to cut flowers for the table and Sherry had a wonderful idea she went and got her glue and fixed these tea cups for Grandma. You guessed it she glued all of the cups to the saucer's. So when I saw this cup and sauce in the junk store I just had to buy it . I have not seen this before, the saucer has a deep in set and the cup sets down in the saucer . You can carry it and the cup stays put.

Oh, I love the story of Sherry and her grandmother's tea cups. She was a very inventive girl! I hope Grandma wasn't too upset with her.

That's a cute story and I'm sure it was a life lesson!

What a cute story, and the tea cups you bought are so pretty, and easier to carry, I'm sure.

Hugs and blessings from the rainy Ozarks!

What a cute story. Little girls can sure fix things alright. Grandma must not have been too hard on her since she gave her the set.
