'' O Lord, send us out to sea --- out in the deep water. Here we are so close to the rocks that the first bit of breeze with the Devil, we are all knocked to pieces. Lord, send us out to sea-----out in the deep water, where we shall have room enough to get a glorious victory." By Mark Guy Pearse--- From Streams in the Desert --------- All of my thoughts and prayer are with the people of the evacuation.-- Jehovah is our refuge.

Beginning My Day
With a delicious Dish of cereal, blueberry's and banana's in my Homer Laughlin Fiesta, lead free glaze bowl, and silver Reed & Barton Tara spoon. I am such a detailed person. LOL and a good book. I read Patricia Cornwell's book Ruth, A Portrait: The Story of Ruth Bell Graham. I loved it so started reading her Scarpetta Series of books. They got so graphic I had to stop reading her books. This book is nonviolent. Now to get down to real housework. Have a good day my Blogger friend's.

Pieces of the past
When I was haunting antique shops long ago I picked up these green glass with gold and enamel painted flowers. Each piece was found in different shops. Some in Tennessee and some in Texas. They were packed away and forgotten about, until I was watching Antique Roads show. Wouldn't you know the price was high for blue ,OK for red or cranberry and lower for green. Story of my life. Oh well I had the thrill of finding each piece.

The rest of the Story
Only Quilter's and collectors will know the worth of these and people that sell on E-bay, just joking Frank, I want try to sell it on E-bay. Frank worked for Cloth World years and years ago. They are no more, That is Cloth World is no more. So the Pattern book and Button container have to be very, very collectable. Thank you Frank and Cloody for my birthday gifts. My village friend Charlene gave me the needle holder. Thank you Charlene, and Clara it is good to be gifted.
