Today Is A Calm Day

For the community as we get ready to celebrate the 

The 4th of July with our family's.

The granddaughter came with knitting yarn, for me to teach

her how to knit????

 After a nice long visit about her and life in general

she had to make off with her busy day.

 So I got all my supply's out and got started.

I called and said I need more yarn!! 

Do you really think she wants to knit, LOL

 Tuesday Afternoon our Bible Study Class
had a cookout for all Bellevue-Woods
These men are Members of Bellevue Baptist Church
that feed us at no charge, and do all the work.

When we were kids and school was out it was play time

from sun -up to sun-down.

 This Great grandson is so into it

 That with trips and playing ball

 With July coming up not much time left

He will be back to 3rd grade in Aug.

they have short summers now.

I Have Been IRONING

Sure try to avoid that as long as I can.

 So this is why

I washed these -- some my mother made

She did the one on bottom and the long one,

do you use doily's  ? I do.
I put them on back of chairs and dressers and night stands.I never
did learn to crochet , mother did try to teach me when I was a kid.
But I couldn't sit still had to be out climbing a tree, jumping, or dancing
around. Wish I could still climb a tree now!!!
