Moses is in the House

The image of Moses and other leaders of civilization and societies have been hanging

 in the chamber for 65 years.

A special committee of five members of the House of Representatives and  the

Architect of the Capitol approved the selection, and the reliefs were installed 

when the House Chamber was remodeled  from 1949--1950. 

Prime Minister Netanyahu at the end of his speech quoted Moses from

The Book of Deuteronomy stating in Hebrew.

"Be strong and resolute, neither fear nor dread them"

The  N I V reads

"Be strong and  courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for

the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

Deuteronomy 31:6  

which were the leader's parting words to the Israelites before they entered the land

of Israel.

A shared friendship by the United States and Israel, two countries with a deep respect for timsless road of history.

Back To the Past

 This was my potting table to the right you can see how bonnet lady has grown 

and could look to some a little spooky. The chipmunk lived under the table

and we did see her baby's play all around, under and on the table.

 Do not know where this poppie came from , the wind or birds put it there.

  You can see the roses  made it up the trellis and we enjoyed 

our back yard very much. We did have a small vegetable garden to.

We Got Snow

 The Bennie would hand feed this Squirrel hold shelled pecans.

1995--2005

 This chipmunk stole all the sunflower seeds she could stuff in her mouth

and bury them. They would come up in bunches. She had a nest under my potting table with three babies.

And this was our love,  Blackie came to us when we lived in Texas. 

He had good manners very smart and so much personality. Here he is sticking his tongue out at me. 

Blackie lived with us 18 years.  Our children called him their little black brother.

Deer Camp

Men Only

 For a week in Nov  the bennie lived here

 with five other guys  in the hills of Tennessee

 Setting in a tree, only other men could understand that.

And here he is the Bennie after he came out of the tree.
The deer was eaten by family and friends

My part of the deer was done like this, boy was I in to flowers.

This I hope is a promise of  warmth to come, it is high wind and cold this second day of March.
