O No!

The gardener has been at the trees again. First the Crape Myrtle 

now Hollie Trees

 He did these first along the gate, now I like these if you just have to cut them.
 next to the house we get this.
 He took out the bird nest , remember we had to duck from the bird
 dive bombing us this spring.
What it did look like.
 Now this is a beautiful Holly Tree

All neat and tidy, but if you enjoy seeing them in their native state then this shearing and pruning looks all too commercial, but it's how the gardeners do nowadays :)

He did a wonderful job! And even though he had to cut the tree back so much, he made it look cute! They say that large holly trees around your house act as a deterrent to lightening.

Flats tops on trees seem to be the fashion. Not sure why. Maybe it's easier than shaping them.

Those holly trees are beautiful! I've seen holly bushes but never trees.
