Sweet Mildred from "Cat Tales" Gave me this some years ago.
And we sure enjoy the elegant sight growing in the garden.

On A Missionary Journey

This is my baby brother and right out of High School he went to war.

It has been 50 years ago. He still suffers from injuries, more now that

he is up in years.

 This is my grandson , he is now in Vietnam telling them

the good news about Christ.

It is very emotional  for me to know he is in a place that had

so many memories of fear and dread for my mother and father that my

 brother would not survive. God is good and he did. I am happy my

grandson is there to tell them about Christ's love for them

and not because of war but I want him back home soon.

 

God Says

"I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh."

Acts 2:17

 

 

 

Dear Lord, sweeten my attitudes. May my life breathe

the fresh fragrance of your Spirit.

 I have just two Vinca's that lived

 Hosta is blooming

And  white with some blue in it ,so not all is pink.

Sharing Flowers From A Far Today

I gave a neighbor across the street a start and seed of

the Mildred's Blackberry lily, so now we get to enjoy

seeing hers bloom.

 She has lots of red lilies

 And these pure sunshine yellow flowers.

Hope All stay cool and happy this lovely June day.

What a week can make in the garden, flowers bloom and cheer the soul.

 

 I guess you can call me the pink lady a lot of my

 flowers are some shade of pink. This is Rubis Althea Hibiscus

and deer resistant.

 Tall Garden Phlox-- Little fountain girl is playing  hide and seek in it.

We lay Our son to rest with his great grand's, his grandfather and grand mother , Bennie's brother
and we will join him there some day in the family plot of the Smith's.

Going To Do A Lily Bed

in the back yard. I am collecting  day lilies , so far this is what I have.

Looking for more on the sly because The Bennie may faint.

He said I was causing him to much stress in his old age.



Not Much Doing Here Today

 Cone flowers in bloom, wish I had a red one like Mildred.

Hers was so pretty. A white one would be nice to.

Wanted A New Plant

I was going to say needed a new plant but no just wanted.

 This is Plum Delight Loropetalum

Said Hummingbirds and butterflies like it.

We put two in side yard and did a little stone work to help stop water flow. Looks
like grass is not going to grow there any more.

Also got pink Pentas for front bed not having any luck with
Vinca this year to wet.

Do You Check For Cracks

I always do , I hate to get home with broken eggs, and I want

a full dozen. Today we paid $1.00 more  for eggs than last week.

They say it is because of Avian Flu outbreak in the chickens.

Don't know what we should give up, but if food keeps going up

something will have to give.

 I have been in a real funk  for a few weeks

Doctors appointments for me and the Bennie. He had to go in for more test and
could mean surgery. Had a death in the family, roof damage from storm with water in the hall.
Grass dead where we did all that work from water boys run off in side yard. I must stop here.
It will all work out and I will get out of my funk soon????
