grand daughter, she graduated college last year and had her heart set on teaching English in China.

Here she is in Beijing on holiday from teaching. And I get excited when The Bennie says less go to "Walley World."

Frank's Picnic Table

I tried to get him to send me a photo of his  picnic table  with the ice on it from the unusual storm they had in Houston yesterday. But he didn't, so I had to empervise.

It really wasn't this bad at all.



I never get tired of this photo. It was taken on a day in  February  when we went to visit Frank and Cloody.
It was like a spring day.

The Wedding March- Trivia

 Did you happen to watch on PBS the documentary this past week of Queen Victoria and her children? I did and they failed to tell us about "The Wedding March." It so happen that on January 25 1858 at the wedding of her oldest daughter Victoria Adelaida Mary Louisa to Crown Prince of Prussia German Emperor Frederick 111. "The Wedding March" of Mendelssohn's was presented for the first time.

Prowler

We had a prowler in our back yard, it was about 1:30 in the morning and

The Bennie was awaken by the noise of talking and someone climbing our fence.

He got up and looked out saw a person coming around the house

where he had come over the fence. Brave Bennie? got dressed and went out

side, saw the person across the street coming back across to our house.

Bennie told him to stop and not to come up on him. The prowler had a black hoodie

on, he ran across the yard and went between the houses down the street

where they have no fence and you can go into the woods. 

Bennie came in and call the police. That is when I woke up .

3 patrol cars came and I was so proud of our men in blue,They on foot did a tense search

of the woods and field with powerful lights. They even drove the car in the field with their

search lights.  Sorry to say the prowler got away, so we think it was 

someone that lives in the neighborhood and went in their house.

 I just hope it scared them so bad that they will not do it again.

Trivia and Humiliation Day

First let me do trivia.  Because who in the world wants to be humiliated?

I was about to miss the point of humiliation Day until I did my Bible study last night.

We see a lot of arrogance -self center humanist today.

What we may be forgetting is how to have divine view point. Of humility and humble

attitude.
