These Days Are Dry

Courage dear gardeners Fall is not far away. With cooler weather, we hope and with more rain for our fall garden flowers.

We've actually gotten rain a couple times now, thankfully. Of course not enough yet to bring us out of drought. I've already lost a lot and have quite a bit more dug up, potted and in shade hoping to save some things. Seriously redoing my gardens soon as I can't do this every year. Hope things get better for you.

I have lost flowers this year from the heat as well.

Such a pretty photo, Patsy. We lost almost all of our one year old hollies this summer, despite watering. I am really looking forward to cooler temps.

We had a pouring of rain here last night and this a.m. A good thing, but wouldn't you know I missed the sunshine. Today turned out to be pleasant though, and had the most magnificent clouds. Hope you've had a pleasant day...

It is discouraging to garden this year with so much loss and it is everywhere. Next year will be better. Hope you are doing well Patsy.
