The flocks of Meadowlarks are back:
I did not take this picture ,we have no green fields yet.
They are like the Robins
soon they will leave some to nest and the others move on.
I love hearing them call to each other out in the back hay field.

The Robins are back, they are in flocks running all over the yard.
We had a new visitor at the feeder this morning.

We started seeing these doves when we lived in Texas in the 1980's.

They are called the ring neck or Eurasian Dove.

The collared doves are native to Africa and Asia: pale, grayish fawn w/blue gray on the wing edge with red feet. They are larger then our native dove in the U.S.A.Spring must be near.

It is that time of the year to cut back the roses for more blooms like this. "The Peace Rose" it has more yellow in it then this shows.

This is the Knock -Out Rose and it will be cut back and moved,
it is to close to a brick wall facing the west. This will be to let it spread out.

This is the Pope John Paul II and it will be moved away from the west brick wall also. I just hope they move with ease .

Spring is coming soon to North East Arkansas the tulips are up about 2 inch's.
We went to Tennessee for doctors appointments and had a lovely lunch on
Valentine Day with some of the children.

Have a super day!
