Artist Trading Cards

Once a month I post cards that I get from all over the U.S.A. and the world , Spain, The Netherlands , Canada and many other Countries. I have been ask to tell you what ATC'S are.
It is a new grown-up card collecting craze. A global art happening and it is call ATC exchange. We have stampers, scrapbookers and other artist that do this. There are classes for beginners. There are group swaps.

Conditions of trading cards :
A. size must be 64x89mm(2.5x3.5 inches.)
B. no thicker then 1/2 cm with embellishments.
C. open theme ( some times there is a one theme like on Thanksgiving)
D. put contact information on back of the ATC (sometime that is optional.)
For every card you send you get one back.
As you can see I keep mine in a large note book. Fun Fun. Click on picture to enlarge and see details of the cards.

You really have some lovely ones Patsy. I love that you have a safe way of keeping them while still enjoying them. I have one from a blog friend in Ireland that I cherish.

I remember the time you asked about my photos and mentioned ATC cards, I looked at the email, and shook my head. What were ATC's?

You have a beautiful collection, what a great way of having miniature artworks from so many different people.

Beautiful cards Patsy, and what a wonderful hobby, and what a wonderful way to meet people from all over the world.

Yours look so organized. Thank you for sharing, until today I didn't know about ATC cards.

They are lovely. Thanks for this information about them.

However I made myself a promise when I retired. I'm taking up no more new hobbies or collections. Have to finish the things I've started to make things tidier and create some space.
