This is our Peace rose when we got home from our trip up in to the Missouri hill country.
It is in fall mode with huge open roses and giant buds

The trees in Missouri were just spectacular

Welcome back Patsy,
It looks like you all saw some beautiful foliage on your trip, fall is my favorite season. Your peace rose bud is stunning, as the bloom also. I noticed my rose bushes this week and i thought "my they look prettier now than earlier this summer." I guess they are trying to be show offs. hope your day is filled with many blessings,
Sue

I was so glad to see your post....Your pictures are so pretty. We went to St. Louis a week ago and the trees were so much prettier. I went to Dyersburg Monday and the trees are pretty there too.

The peace rose is my favorite of all ... tightly bound petals nestle one another & like in life, as they are nourished they blossom slowly forth in a display of beauty to love & cherish ...

Beautiful pics, Patsy. TY for sharing. Have a beautiful weekend. TTFN ~ Marydon

Hi, Patsy,

I "ran into you" over at Shelby's blog, and came over to visit. We were talking roses on another site a few days ago, and I posted a photo of this rose variety. I didn't know what it was, but my mother used to grow them. The folks I was chatting with said they thought it was a peace rose - and lo and behold! here it is.

I grew up in Iowa, so the growing conditions were nearly the same. Glad to see it here and get the confirmation.
