Larkspur

It is a natural as a companion to roses or in the perennial border where gaps periodically occur. They also make good cut flowers.

I love these colours. Just wish I could grow flowers like these. Our clay soil is terrible nd it hasn't improved much over the years despite everything I've added to it.

Never mind I'll just stick to the tubs with smaller flowers and keep looking at your flowers online.

Mine will look similar to that one day! (maybe)

I love larkspur and love the way it re-seeds itself every year. Ooooh, those blue/purples with a few pale ones in the mix! Did you know they press beautifully and hold their color? You are right about the Iran elections. Wouldn't it be scary living over there...

I imagine a vase full of those would be absolutely stunning! What pretty colors. Enjoy your day Patsy.

The Queen still shows the world what being a lady is...in my opinion. She is not afraid to give God recognition at Christmas times either and that is refreshing to hear. The world will lose the last of whats proper for a Queen... when she passes on, don't you think so. I don't have respect for some of the 'goings on' of her children etc. How could one?
